Terms of Service

FieldMarkup is a web application for marking up floor plans and site surveys, placing devices, and producing estimates and exports for low-voltage and security work. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement, and you may only use FieldMarkup for lawful business purposes. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You keep all rights to the floor plans, photos, markups, and other content you upload or create (“your content”). You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, process, and display your content so we can provide the service to you and the people you share it with. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload, and for how you use exports you generate.

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Upload malware or try to breach, overload, or disrupt the service.
• Reverse engineer, resell, or copy the service except as allowed by law.
• Access accounts or data that are not yours.

FieldMarkup may offer free and paid plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Fees are billed in advance and, except where required by law, are non-refundable. We will give reasonable notice of price changes. You can cancel at any time, and your paid features remain until the end of the current billing period.

The FieldMarkup software, brand, and content (other than your content) belong to us. These terms do not grant you any rights to our name, logos, or software beyond using the service as intended.

We work to keep FieldMarkup reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend the service where necessary to protect it or our users.

FieldMarkup is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. FieldMarkup is a planning and estimating tool. It is not a substitute for professional engineering, code compliance review, or a physical site inspection. You are responsible for verifying your designs, counts, and estimates before relying on them.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

You can stop using FieldMarkup and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for how to delete your data). We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms it or other users.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use FieldMarkup after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Copperpot Technologies is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there.
